Concert performance for a container set into vibration by six sine wave generators
This concert performance was conceived for the BASE Container, an art project by Sladjan Nedeljkovic on the occasion of the art trail ‘Lost in Tugium’ in Zug.
Six transducers are installed in the container, which transfer the energy of the six sine wave oscillators to the ceiling of the container, causing it to vibrate. The container thus functions as a kind of resonance chamber and becomes the actual instrument. Over a period of about 20 minutes, the performer slowly sweeps the frequencies of the sine wave generators down into the inaudible range, searching for resonances, modulations and rhythms.
