La table des matières is an original creation inviting you on a meticulously planned poetic journey, following various sound and visual twists and turns, in the intimacy of a living room. At the centre of the action is a coffee table and a percussionist-actor who plays with this object in every possible way. The Table of Contents is a freely orchestrated fantasy of words, sounds and gestures, divided into scenes that are sometimes absurd, burlesque or touching, inspired by sources as diverse as the sound poetry of Daniel Canty or Christophe Tarkos, a song by Sanseverino, Google Translate or the randomness of the web...
This project won the 2017 fOrum Culture competition for apartment performances. This work is a free adaptation of La Table des matières.
